Tips On How To Add Color To A Cold Cathode Florescent Lighting

By Georgia Diaz

Lamps provide a coarse brilliance that does not furnish a warm energy over the area. Creative inputs are not inspired this way. Try to use local materials at home and make your own version of a beautiful clear lighting. Alter the expression of the field at home. Invite people to stay at a comfortable area where you are staying. Design your own colored cold cathode fluorescent lighting.

Firstly, gather the things that you will need. Look for a lamp, a book covering or colored plastic sheets. To put together the materials, you will need a gel and and a transparent tape. To cut your supplies, bring in some sharp scissors.

Roll the book cover or sheet on a smooth surface. Place it flat and be sure to pull wrinkles from the cover. Wrap the cover around the fluorescent. Press it tightly across the lamp. There should be no spaces between them. Allow it to be molded on the body of the bulb.

Snip out the cover from the remaining roll. Cut the excess sheet that is found in the line from across the tube. Be sure to secure the seams with a transparent tape. Create an elegant look as you wrap and circle it on the bulb. Less is more so do not overdo the accessories.

Cut off the edges using the scissors. Be careful not to cut the contacts which are found at each end of the bulb. It will look like prongs from across the tips. The contact from each other should remain accessible. Do not fold them in a manner that they will not be sealed.

Set up a cover around the holder. Charge the light on and enjoy the look of the place. Your work is now done and you can decorate the position of the room in a way that it will not stress your eyes.

Try to combine more than one color for the covering. Fold and overlay each part of the sheet. Experiment and match colors to formulate a different tint. If you want to use a filter, reduce the lighting that comes with it. Do not always subtract the filter but instead use lesser materials. Mix two filters so that it would look beautiful to recreate the kind you are searching for. This is convenient and easy to mold.

If it is not too much for you to spend more, there are outlets that offer supplies of pre made color tubes. They also come in gels that are available in every color you can even think of. This is also sold in photo supply centers. They carry filters to correct the fluorescent lamps that will match the sunlight or tungsten sources. This is very affordable and will not produce a fire hazard. There are also compact lights sold everywhere.

The theatrical gels also come in various tints. There is a specific gel that will remove the glare that the bulb emits. If you are looking for a warm tone rather than the cold one, replace the bulb with warm white. You will get much more coverage from the mix of phosphorous that will produce the desired mix rather than from the filter. Use your creative mind to decorate your cold cathode fluorescent lighting.
