Having A Fantastic House Redecorating With Epoxy Pebblestone

By Anita Ortega

The most fulfilling thing to do is being able to make something worth appreciating. Meaning, it is always best when you were able to achieve something that everybody notices. We all love to hear about how excellent our job is.

One of the best part to start redesigning is the floor. It is the first thing that people see once they get in. Keeping it clean and attractive is a good way of re inviting guests. Epoxy pebblestone is a must choose adornment for your floor.

Here is something that will inspire you to give your floor a little shot of design. Pebble floors are absolutely fantastic. Here is how you can stick it by yourself.

Start up with cleaning your floor. When you say clean, you must make sure that there are nothing on it anymore. Even the littlest dust may affect the process of attaching the stones. They might be the reason why the pebbles can easily be detached. Simply sweep the floor with a broom then mop it up so it will completely be free of any dirt.

After that, you need to check if your floor has cracks. If it has, get your epoxy and mix it in a large bucket. You will be needing 2 epoxy primers and follow the instructions provided by the manufacturer to be able to mix it perfectly. If you do not mix it the way it should be, you might not get the most accurate results.

After cleaning and repairing cracks, you now need to get the epoxy ready. Mix it in a large bucket to avoid spillage. You need to have 2 epoxy primer and make sure to follow the right way of mixing it. Instructions are surely available on your primer manufacturer.

Now you are ready to put the mixture on your flooring. Use a paint roller so you can have an equally divided primer. Now wait for at least an hour for it to dry.

Now mix another batch of two epoxy resin with the stones. Make sure to have only 100 pounds of pebbles in each gallon of your mixture. Immediately pour the mixture on your desired area after mixing. Use a trowel to create an equal layer of stones.

After 24 hours, recheck the pebbles. If there are any that was not stuck together with the others, use a broom to sweep it. Never thrown them as they can still be used in case you want to put another batch of pebbles in another area. To make sure that your pebbles are firmly attached, apply a two part component varnish to make it smooth and shiny. It is always best if it is smooth especially when someone walks on it barefooted. Most pebbles are 100 percent natural and it never fades. You do not have to worry on that but you always have to brush it with varnish to keep it shiny.
